Thread: CN or CSS?

    Default CN or CSS?

4 timers to CN; most recently this past July 4th and 21 return times to Jamaica; we are considering CSS in the fall 2010. Has anyone been to both CN and CSS? What are your feelings of CSS vs CN.

    Hi Captain-
We've been to both CN (4th trip coming up this fall) and CSS once and booked for 2011. We LOVE both of them, but they are very different.

We find CN more active & social. We've met SO many great people at CN. We love the AN beach (there is nothing like floating in the warm, clear waters of Bloody Bay!) The AN hottub at CN is an inground 12person tub which we prefer to the above ground jacuzzi at SSB. The pool scene at CN is alot of fun! We like the compactness of CN and still being able to take long walks on Bloody Bay & Long Bay.

CSS is BEE-U-TI-FUL!! And so romantic....
We prefer the rooms here and room service is a big plus for us. We like the facilities at SSB (pool w/swim-up bar, grill). The main beach is nice. You don't have the jet ski guys and pedalers on the beach like at CN. Sometimes we would walk the grounds at CSS and feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. We went to the entertainment one night and it was packed with other couples. We wondered where all these people were during the day?! Getting a massage in one of the huts on the cliffs can't be beat!!

The food, service & staff at both are WONDERFUL!!

If you decide to try CSS, just go into it knowing the beaches of CSS and CN don't compare. CN's beach is far superior. But there are SO many things to love about CSS

Same here, we went to CN (3) or (4) times and several other Negril resorts before trying CSS

We liked CSS, it is a beautiful resort, the rooms were nicer, the room service was great, absolutely loved their a/n beach

food was good, I thought the foord selections were better at CN but CSS seemed a little fancier w/ their (2) restaurants.

No complaints at CSS but we will probably try CSA next time.

Hard to beat Negril and especially Bloody Bay but you should see the other side of the island.
