    Default CN building 9 question

Want to go to Couple Negril this year for the a/n beach. Would a first floor Deluxe Ocean room in building 9 have the patio AND the room door towards the a/n beach for easy access? Do the Garden rooms in building 9 have the entries ( door and patio/balcony) on the back of that building 9?

Patio or balcony to the inside of the arc of buildings 6-9 and room entry doors on the outside of the arc. Beware. If you have a 1st floor room and plan to use the patio door as your main entrance the cleaning staff will lock the patio door when they clean your room.

Thanks so much for info. Hard to tell from pictures. CSS had some beachfront rooms with patio and room door side by side, but we didnít stay in those, just noticed them during the lawn parties. Looking forward to CN. We will be sure to have a key, thanks again.

Your are going to love the beach at CN! It's the reason we keep going back. There are no Garden View rooms in Bldg 9. Deluxe Ocean or better. The patio rooms are nice but good advice on being locked and FYI, your key will not open the patio door. It's a better, shorter and easier walk from the main door. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for info. Good to know door is near. Probably wonít leave by patio door. Besides, I could barely drag hubby back to room during day when we were at CSS on SSB. Iím hoping I can at least get him off beach for lunch or water sport when we go to CN. We will see 😀

Jndp: thanks for the info. CN was great - spent every morning there on ďour beachĒ which was short walk from our first floor building 9 room. A Couple one room down was locked out of their patio door with no keys the afternoon we arrived as we checked out our patio view. They asked if our patio was ours since theirs was locked and I was able to tell them that housekeeping locks the patio. At least they were clothed for their walk to the lobby desk . Great stay!

The buildings are at an angle, so there is an obstructed view (beautiful palm trees) of water from most rooms. Room numbers arenít guaranteed but they try to give you the floor you want. We told them Bldg 9, first floor closest to au natural beach as possible and were give 9103 I think and it was 4 doors from the end which was great because we just used sarong to walk to beach and when going from room for dinner it was far around the other end of building. Third floor would give you a better water view I think, but we lived on the a/n beach. I guess your trip may be postponed, but donít give up, go when you can.

In my above post, I meant to say when going to dinner it was NOT far around the other end of our #9 building. Everything was very conveniently located. Miss not going this year. Looking forward to reading late summer and fall posts. It will be next year for us.
