We've been to CTI twice.
I like getting a Pina Colada with a shot of Rum Cream. My wife usually just drinks Red Stripe.
Enjoy your stay in paradise
Only 242 more days until we return to Couples.

* 1 oz. (Angostura) Rum Cream

His is a Smile Jamaica (or Jamaican Smile, don't recall exact name) and her's is an Appleton Breeze. The drinks very by resort as they have the Appleton Breeze on the menu at CN but not CSS. Had to teach the bartenders how to make it.

Okay. Still learning my way around the MBs. I will play with that search function and see what I find.
That dirty banana sounds YUM-O! I love "girly drinks" and enjoy just about anything fruity with rum. This rum cream that seems so popular....I have never had, but CAN NOT WAIT to try it out!
and since I just posted yesterday and I am one day closer lol.....58 days!!

Rum Cream on ice. Ingredients are rum cream and ice, LOL. Kind of like an ice cream bar or a drinkable dessert.
Also, when I can't think of what I might like, I just order a surprise...never been disappointed!!Gene and Jeanne

For something really light and refreshing when it's hot, hot, hot ... we like the Mudslide and the Vodka Slush. The Mudslide is not at all like they make in restaurants with ice cream.

Rum Punch, but there usually is a drink of the day which is worth trying and often time the bartender will have a specialty drink they like to make up for you.

Yes, we too love the Hummingbirds and the Dirty Bananas, both that have been mentioned already, but we like ours with a rum cream float!
(That's an extra shot of rum cream on top - like they serve with the Jamaican Smile, also a favorite)
But if you're looking for something shaken or stirred, VX and cola is my husband's go-to, and Yellow Birds are mine. What's in a Yellow Bird? ...
Dash of Tia Maria
1 oz Dark Rum
1/2 oz Creme de Banana
1 oz Appleton Special
Orange Juice
and Simple Syrup

WOW! Is anyone else feeling suddenly very THIRSTY?!!!
I am making notes to try all of your suggestions and to bring back rum cream since it sounds like you can put it on anything and it be great! lol
The vodka slush and yellow bird is definitely going on the list as both sound delish!

Not a big fruity drink person, but at CSA I had my fair share of the Key Lime Martinis. The chocolate Martinis were pretty tasty too.

My favourite is vodka slush. It is basically vodka, lime juice, simple syrup and ice blended into a yummy slush. My husband loves the banana banshee. I tried to look up the recipe, but there were too many versions! If anyone knows the Couples San Souci recipe let me know.

What is the Appleton Breeze? I would always ask the bartender for their recommendation.
Never a bad drink. But my favourite is the classic Rum Punch.
