I also saw this on the FB page, but many said it was not being enforced.....hoping it will be.....

I would like to see similar signs for all of the Couples AN areas. This simple sign says it all.

What? You can't bring $1s anymore to tip the naked people?

I understand the new sign, but I never saw a problem when we were there. There was a morning I was there by myself for a bit because my fiance wanted to get a workout in, but I was with a group of new friends and it wasn't an issue, as they knew she'd show up later. I think it's more of a deterrence sign for the curiosity seekers. If you're known over on that side, being without your S/O for a bit shouldn't be a problem. Now, if you show up on Day 1 by yourself, that could be an issue, and I totally get that

In 9 trips to CN this has never been a problem. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems to be a non-issue. Don't know why this has been added to the sign now.

Agree. There are so MANY issues brought up on this message board that are non-issues when we are actually there. The sign is fine, but not really needed.

Well, no one either doesn't read or doesn't see the ahem fine print "Couples Only".

We've been there 6 trips, and on 2 separate occasions we had to ask security to speak to single men that obviously were not waiting for their SO. I say this because after being asked to leave and return with their wife/gf they never did. Normally we wouldn't had bothered but both men eventually pulled out phones and held them in a manner normally used for pictures. Could it have been an honest mistake? Sure, but why not just follow the rules? We appreciate the addition to the sign......

I saw no problem with "Singles" while we were there. There were a couple but it was obvious that their partner had been there and would be back.

I did, however, have a problem with the two or three times where clothed people came, had a drink at the bar for a while and then left. I think the AN Bar should have a sign saying "Shirt? Shorts? Shoes? No Service!"

My guess is that there may have been some recent complaints about solo creepers hanging out, so they put it out as a policy reminder, especially to newbies. I highly doubt that there will be an increase in security. That beach has always been pretty decent at "self-policing".

We will be there in two weeks!! Cant wait last year we did CTI and loved the island. How public is the AN beach at CN do people from other resorts have access to just walk by?

People can walk by but it's really no big deal. And I've heard some people talk about kids going by but in 9 visits we have only seen 1 kid and he was about 3 and on his father's shoulders. It is really a comfortable atmosphere. If you really concerned you can sit way back away from the water where you can't possibly be seen. But we have never found that necessary.

Talamy - very public - but you'll never see those people again that walk by - and security is very good at stopping cameras. We had one gawker who we ridiculed to death until he never returned. Again, security is very good if they're aware of a potential problem.

If the AN bar is in the AN area, how are clothed people allowed? Am I missing something. Is it accessed by the rest of the resort also?

Barb111 - textile people are not allowed at the bar in the AN area. There are several other bars from which to choose for them. Once you come over, you're expected to be naked until it's time for you to leave.

I saw clothed people order drinks from the bar, slowly finish them and then leave on three of the five days we were there.

That does not include the day that it rained like mad for about 20 minutes, during which about half the nude people put on clothes and hung out under the bar. Considering how cold and windy it got during that time I could understand that. Personally I just went out and swam in the ocean for awhile.

This should be at the front of the resort...

We're happy to see the sign. 4 out of 5 trips we have had an issue with single men and no sign of their SO on the AN. Of course there are numerous times when someone with "AN beach cred" is there for an hour or two without their SO and that's not an issue. The single men issues were always dealt with appropriately by the staff.

Talamy -- If you are feeling a little self conscious when you walk to the water at CN, wrap the Couples foam float around you as walk to the water.

We just returned from another great week. Here is the reason for the sign as told to us by staffers. A "single" came to the AN beach, sat down and proceeded to snap pictures of a woman guest. The woman caught him and security went through his phone, deleted the photos and escorted him away.
