My wife and I are first timers, and when we booked through our TA nothing was said about tipping. if not for our son and his wife telling us we would not know. My other question is 1) our there any employee,,,,,,,,,,,,s that should be tipped? 2) what about bubba kegs?

The only people on resort that should be tipped are the spa staff.

We tip others that are not couples employees based on service such as the catamaran cruise, shuttle drivers, red caps at the airport, club mobay, etc.

I clearly saw a guest tip a member of the grounds crew during my stay at CSA. For the rest of our vacation these people had a hut set up every morning with towels and chairs - basically reserved while everyone else had to get up at 6 AM to find a shady spot on the beach. I stood on my balcony and watched the grounds crew set it up. As a firm believer in the Couples policy I didn't give in to the temptation to do the same, but as I have a sun allergy it was tempting! For this reason alone I will not be returning to CSA. I don't want to have to get up at 6 AM to play "reserve the hut". I am hoping that CN has more shade on the beach.

Stay classy and leave the “bubba”s at home. No need for them

Artie - what is not 'classy' about bringing your own insulated cup ( not being defensive or otherwise, genuinely curious)?

I think he's talking about the 52oz bubba keg and not necessarily about tumblers in general. I take a 20oz Rtic tumbler and stainless steel straw. Its perfect for keeping my drinks cold in the beach and on the balcony.

I think that a 52oz bubba keg may turn its drinker into someone that you will want to avoid.
