    Default CSS Excursions & Activities

    What are the must do's?

I have Dunns River Falls on our list. I saw a video about the Dunns River Falls tour. Is it a hard climb up?
I also want to do Horseback Riding.... posted a seperate thread on that. Know that's an additional cost.
Hubby is interested in ziplining. Thoughts? Also, additional cost.
Thought about the shopping tour but heard mixed reviews. Thoughts?
    Any other suggestions?

    Resort Activities:
We want to do the snorkeling trip for sure. Do the tours book up quickly? Do they have multiple times slots during the day?
We were also thinking about Glassbottom Boat but assuming it's same boat they take for snorkeling so not sure if it's worth it.
How about the other water sports.... options?
Also thinking about taking the free tennis lesson... worth it?
Any other land activities we should do?

    Hi Tia,

Dunn's River Falls is a great excursion. The climb is not difficult. Be sure to bring a waterproof camera so you can get some neat pics along the way.
We've done horseback riding with an outfit called "Hooves". Very professional and enjoyed the ride in the ocean as well as through the plantation.
Haven't tried zip-lining but friends of ours have and loved it.
The shopping tour is okay. Gives you a chance to meet the Jamaican people and find some good deals. For an adventure, depending on which place they take you to shop, there's a craft market where you can get some great (hand-made) things at a great price. Be aware that the folks at the craft market only deal in cash.

The snorkeling trips are typically done twice a day (weather/water permitting). The can book up quickly so it's best to sign up for them at Water Sports early in your visit.
Glass bottom boat is the same as snorkeling...but without getting in the water.
They do offer SCUBA, paddle boats, kayaks and hobie cats (sailing).
Tennis lessons are fun with the guest pro.
Be sure to allow time to relax and wander about the resort. There are many places to see and explore.

    Have fun!
