Yes we have. The water is great the way it comes around the island. Take water shoes though, the floor has rocks in some places. Some areas are sandy, some with smooth rocks, some with larger rocks....

Yes we went into the water. It is great. Take water shoes with you. Water is not overly deep, numerous rocks, so pay attention. Not unsafe if you dont swim. We enjoy it!
