Got to agree with Soft on this one. First time to Jamaica? for them. At Swept Away you not only have a great resort, but you also have the rest of Long Bay with all the small shops, and other spots...

Have to add to this. There is an included cat. cruise at Swept Away and it stops at the cliffs so you can go for a swim. They don't carry any snorkeling gear but if you bring your own, go for it....

Went the last week in March. The eroded sand at the tree line to the North grew by at least 10 feet while we were there! It's coming back!!! What a place.

This situation is confined to mostly Montego Bay. The issue has been overblown by the Press. Tell your husband all is good!

They do require that a life vest be warn, but even if you can't swim, it's really hard to sink in salt water. Fresh water is easier to sink in. If you just lie still as in" snarklin", you'll float.

I hope they didn't get rid of the 46' Newton and get this for the dive boat. Don't think it would be for Snarklin, maybe for the private cruise?? Hard to imagine that but... Any ideas or thoughts?
